@gabriel_true Day 21: I took a shower today and did my best with my hair. I need to learn to tame the curls myself, but it's hard since my mom has always done my hair (she's great at it! And gets kind of bummed whenever my sisters and I do our own hair, so we tend to let her do it anyways). I think I did really well defining the curls...which, idk if you know what that means? But, in simple terms: the curls look great! XD It may seem like such a small thing to be excited about? But, I am happy I took a shower today. I have said it in a thread before...but I really suck at self-care. I usually take months to take a shower (I know it's gross!), and I always feel disgusted yet I never care about myself enough to change such behavior. However! I have been trying to take little steps to change my mindset about me :3. Sometimes I just remind myself that I'm fearfully and wonderfully made by God recently...because in all honesty, sometimes I forget that, however, I am trying to remind myself that this body of mine belongs to the LORD first and foremost, so I should take care of it as best I can for Him and me. I hope you know that you're beautiful too? And I hope you never wait to take showers/baths for so long because you're being mean to yourself (like how I do/have done. I'd much prefer to know you couldn't shower cause work or something).
