As a starving student, Mayuko's life consists of many part-time jobs, a small apartment over a bathhouse, and sleepless study nights. Unfortunatly for her sanity, this hard life is complicated by Niea.

Yuri Otani, who just moved up to the sixth grade, was very upset because she was forced to join the "alien countermeasure team.” The team’s job is to defeat and capture the extraterrestrial creatures which keep appearing in their school.

Tsukihime follows the perspective of Shiki Tohno, who suffered a life-threatening injury when he was young. When he regained consciousness, Shiki was able to see "death lines" through his "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception," which causes him immense headaches as his mind cannot cope with the sight of death.
