@willworkforisekai You’re good. Takes all kinds of people to make the world work. Men always get the rap of being insensitive because we’re more often rational thinkers. And we do on average tend to have duller emotions than women. My little lady has the compassion and empathy of an angel. Mine tends to just extend to those immediately important to me. It’s not that I don’t emphasize with others, but if an emotion isn’t directly affecting me at the time, I tend to default to being rational. She reminds me to widen my heart and makes me want to be a better person.

I don't typically do these kinds of things, I've always been a reserved person, but I've decided to try something new. @gabriel_true Day 117: I had a dizzy spell today cause of hunger, but may the LORD strengthen our bodies over here. I think it's been...three, maybe four, days since the family has eaten, but I'm trying to stay positive. It's weird though...a piece of me truly does feel at peace despite the circumstances right now, but another part is trying to let doubt creep in, so I'm really trying to just trust in God and whatever He's doing...even though I feel at times I'm really bad at it. I'm happy our baby brother is eating tonight though, he still has some money and a neighbor also fed him burgers. Anyways, it's almost Saturday though! I'm going be driving about 8 hours tomorrow for Katsucon, it's gonna be a long day. It does and doesn't surprise me that there's always concurrent cons and such. Really have to pick and choose sometimes.
