wow I just read some interesting stories here. yuki-chan holyshit, I'm sorry you had to go through that man. I've never understood people who begin relationships and don't even like the person, that's what dating's suppose to be. you date for a while if you like each-other after a couple of months of being together you go to the next level a "relationship". I had one bad experience with one girl who was really cute I thought I would like her but I ended up not liking her, I assumed we had allot of things in common but in the end she was just into a bunch of Disney stuff, wasn't to bright, found her to be cold (she didn't like hugs, can you believe that) and was on the phone allot constantly checking face book after a month or two of dating my attraction for her faded and I felt really bad but I had the guts to tell her exactly how I felt before the relation went on further. she was hurt and I felt like shit but at-least I was honest before she started getting too serious. LEZ, Keep writing those those love letters! don't be intimidated by people that don't appreciate them. I've probably written over 30 love letters since high school and no one has ever written me a love letter, I love writing them they make me feel good and there's always a chance your attention might be reciprocated I've had two relationships start that way. There was one relationship that lasted almost 3 years and it began with a short poem "This love is like a fable straight from page to book, quietly unable is described upon her look. with our backs against the pavement and staring at the moon I know I loved her very much and hoped to see you soon" (we broke up two years ago (-__-). I think even if they don't know you it shouldn't intimidate you from writing the love letters as long as you're strong enough to take the rejection. I wrote this for some girl I barely knew, she didn't like me romantically but she liked it and said it was the first time anyone had written anything to her and that made her happy. it's called to ana; how do you say hi to someone you don't know? Have I been thinking of her unrequited... If I were to speak would she want to hear? Or simply run away, to hide, covering her ear. Her face would blush of red "stop, no no , I know not what you said" while hiding underneath the covers of her bed. How do you say hi to someone barely seen? someone you've only known at glances or a gleam. And what would you say to someone you barely know? Someone so far away, like the sun or fleeting snow. To whom you've never spoken but a word or two. What makes you think she's even interested in you? Silly ideas, I nod my head, followed by a sigh resting on my bed. you silly fool go clear your head you know not what you said. Go to sleep you nit, before you break your head. go to sleep you fool, and that is what I said. ; )

In High-school, Girls use to like me... Every year i got at-least 1 Love letter or confession letters. and just as my name implied i tore them up and left them in front of my locker, in Freshman year i got 2 and 2 more in senior year. i don't know why honestly. But for so long i was only committed to one girl and i loved her unconditionally, never would i've thought of going with someone else while i was with her. I hope shes happy now. But i've always been poetic, my ex use to say i was a cheesy yet fresh romantic when i wanted to be. XD *Drinks Coffee*

I gave a girl a love letter once for a girl I was crushing on in college. It was a cute Valentine's Day confession. A week later she called me on the phone to meet her in front of the dorms. I was so nearvous and excited. When I met her in front of the dorms she had the big Valentine's Day card I had made for her in her hands. She gave it back to me and rejected me. I rarely ever cry but I cried that night. A part of me died. I learned the foolishness of wearing your heart on your sleeve and had lost a great amount of trust in people. That cold night, left alone in front of the dorms looking down at my card. I remember it quite clearly. I haven't made a confession since then. But still, I think it's important that a person shouldn't risk missing out on love for fear of rejection. It happens to almost everyone. It's a normal part of growing up. The heart heals over time. Everybody should at least make one love letter in their lives ^_^

I'm a fan of love letters. When Sherflow was in hospital last year I wrote him a letter before every visit, afternoons and evenings, just to tell him about what I was doing, thinking and feeling and letting him know he was missed. He was too ill/doped to read them at the time, but he did read them when he was well enough, and still has them somewhere.
