Anyone here who had experienced getting or giving love letters that are so cheesy and long? If ever there's a situation like you will receive one and it's tooooo long to read @______@ will you still read it? I've given a bunch of love letters before... My first is irl but then it was just torn and burned into pieces (I witnessed it with my own eyes T______T) the second is just a message on the internet but the guy said its a spam and too long to read @_____@ the other one said its too cheesy then just laughed at me >3< then another one said he appreciated it then replies fast after getting it though I don't know if he reads it xD I send all mushy, sweet, corny and long messages stuff but is it OK or is just a bother to the person who's supposed to read it? :/

well love letters are supposed to tell how you feel about the person and go into detail as to why you like them if you half-ass it doesnt that seem like your feelings are half-assed as well? i mean sure its gonna be corny cause most things dealing with love it corny. i dont mind getting a long love letter i actually enjoy getting a wall of text just anything as long as it isnt boring and feel like your swallowing a bag of cement rather than reading a letter.

Nope. Never got one. I was that awkward person people always ignored. Somehow I got lucky with two relationships but those didn't last for long. I mean I've confessed over the internet but I'm not sure if it would count as a love letter. Love letters can be pretty corny but I do like corny stuff from time to time. Sweet mushy stuff from a person you like can be pretty nice.

unless it's the length of a book I don't see how it would be "too long to read". People put a lot of heart and soul into those things and it takes a lot of courage to take the step and give it, I feel it deserves to at least be read and given some due respect. Now as for someone who would burn a love letter in front of the person who gave it to them, that's a person who needs a damn good ass whoopin.

@neet about that guy who torn and burned my letter, he didn't knew I was there... I stalked him all they after giving him my letter then in their home economics subject they needed a charcoal... He volunteered to just burn some scratch papers... Unfortunately, I saw my letter in those papers then it was just torn and burned apart...:( @vezeal what if its always mushy and all about sweet? Aren't the one who'll receive it will get freaked out or get tired of it eventually? @sailing I'm sorry to hear about your ex... Well might be he was really in love with you but since your not ready yet, I guess it's right to break up... Though I feel sorry for his effort... It might be for the best :/

Sometimes the feelings are not mutual unfortunately. @.@ I've wrote love letters to my ex before when I still in that relationship. She apparently never had feelings for me at all and later told me that she just burned them. The whole relationship was a lie. The only thing that was real were my feelings. It hurt me like hell when the breakup did happen and she told me she never had feelings for me to begin with. I did get over it though

I am usually the one writing walls of text... But that is just me being me. I always go all-out, iF I confess to a person, I am going to tell them why in great detail so they know it's personal and not whimsical answers I could give to any girl. You could say to a anyone, I like you cos you are smart, pretty, and funny... But I go into lengthy detail as to why I personally like them, memories we may share, why they should date me, etc. Unfortunately my taste in girls is too good, because other guys have claimed their hearts already... Ah, I ranted again. To respond to this thread... Love letters are awesome! People who don't return your feelings after you poured your heart and soul... THEY SUCK! I would love to get any love letter, let alone a long one, from a gal pal... And yet, you are now taken? So clearly you did something right :P But for those who are not, good luck! PS - Baby 5 is awesome.
