I would highly recommend getting at least the Ryzen 5 3600 or preferrably the Ryzen 7 3700X for your CPU if you plan on doing any sort of Content Creation. As for the GPU, if you aren't really playing any of the latest games at 4K or something, then something like a last-gen GTX 1070 or GTX 1060 might be fine for your forseeable future. If you plan on building it from scratch yourself, just be sure you get a compatible Motherboard and decent RAM, as well as a somewhat reputable PSU.
