What MMO do you play, and why?

I grew up playing Maplestory and I love it for that endless grind it has, but my favorite MMO is Final Fantasy:ARR. My problem is that I've only played it by myself. I was never able to get friends to play with me or find an engaging community.

It wasn't exactly a big open world MMO, but SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online was a cherished memory to me. It had all my favorite mobile suites and mobile armor. I was considered to be the "melee vulture" on the forums by how quick I picked off a dying player. Before I left. They posted that weird strategy I had which made me upset, because I wasn't ever credited. As well as everyone started bringing their own Elmeths and miserably started failing.

I play Final Fantasy XIV because I'm a Final Fantasy fangirl, that and other MMO's I've tried to get in have a mechanic somewhere that I don't understand.

I too mainly play FFXIV as my main go to MMO nowadays because after trying out a few such as TERA, MapleStory 2, Aion, and Archeage, FFXIV stuck the best with me :3

Currently, I am playing ffxiv, I did play runescape back when it was popular, I really don't play mmo but I find ffxiv fun for the story, I'm a solo player sadly

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but my first MMO was Ragnarok Online, which I played way back in 2004ish, but then later jumped ship to play WoW with a friend from High School (whom later abandoned me to play other games). I haven't been able to get into any other MMO for quite a while, since I've built many friendships in WoW. Still playing it on and off til this very day. I did play Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 for a bit but went back to playing WoW again. WoW may be viewed as a terrible game by many, but once you start building your own community in it, the game itself is less of an issue and is more about the people you play with day in and out. Which is why I play it.

it was maplestory for me back in highschool. id pull all nighters all the time, i quit mmos after highschool to try to get back into real world fun. if i were to play something now, it would be to try the final fantasy mmo you guys mentioned or Arc Survivor evolved which i thought was Awsome when i tryed it a year ago. With Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to north america in 2020, ill probly get into that, as i never got to play the first. and i hear its pretty cool.
