Any PC fanatics?

Need some advice and tech support, looking to build very first pc. Want to use it for newish games but also for work so needs to be a multi task pc and will probably need to work well under heavy load. Main tasks will be recording or rendering and streaming in spare time. Cpu preferences probably AMD as not looking to splash out thousands of pounds £££ , maybe 1.2k max to begin with and will upgrade over time. Submit or let me know what you think I should go with and why, main games I'll be playing will be FFXIV, WoW (BFA & Classic) and maybe few odd RTS games like siege , WoWs and couple of other games like SCP mordhau for honour.

Wait a couple of months, price drops for GPUs and CPUs are inbound due to quite a bit of rivalry between Intel and AMD, aswell as a new line of products from Nvidia.

That said, go for a capable AMD CPU, and a Nvidia GPU. Which parts of your current PC can you recycle / keep using in your new build? Any parts that are not too outdated?

Don't have pc currently, ones i did have were old and they're in storage atm cos they were just old as fk and we're only for paperwork / spreadsheets (basically college days) Probably not even worth salvaging them other than for personal things off the hdd's

Alright cool , yeah ill try get one of the newer cards when they drop in price , I'll probably tweek a few bits and probably style it a bit.
