Apparently my personal trainer got fired for asking for money from clients on the side, so I've been going full into calisthenics for the past week. 40 regular pushups, 30 diamond pushups, 30 archer pushups. This is the third time I got 100 done in a session and it's a friggin struggle. I also was going to try for at least 30 pullups, but my left shoulder was hurting some today so I only got about 15 done. I also pumped out another 30 minute run at 5 speed on the treadmill and I was STRUGGLING. Heart rate constantly at 170-176 for the last 10 minutes. I want to be able to do a 30 minute run at 6 speed to accomplish a 5k run, but I just can't do it right now.

It is time for another Halloween Public Service announcement from the OCCULT. For this halloween season, I feel it is necessary to warn you of a being called a Qlipploth. In the cosmology of creation, demons are of life. They are the shadows (In that Jungian sense) of the energies that Spirit spilled into the world. The world has them. The universe has them. Even in the western hermetic arts, we work with these energy centers, as they are the parts of the etheric body where energy leaves. Meaning using them in place of your chakras will deal far less damage to your ghoosty body. Qlipploth are of death. Not like Reapers. Those are the divine agents of Binah. See, death happens in layers. You die, your spirit is released. Reapers are there to help that process happen, as many complications could occur, leaving you stuck. As I've said in the past, they have the power to bind and to sever. But what happens to the corpse that gets left behind? The shell. The husk. Well, that is the very translation of the word Qlipploth. "Shell, or husk." It rots. It leaves disgusting stains behind. Stinks up the place something fierce. But there's an energy in that. A "Death" beyond that which the soul experiences in its transition from physical, to etheric, then to astral. Now in the Kabbalistic model of the universe, the place of origin for these beings would be in an inverse of the tree of life. The tree of death. As a metaphysical realm, it is described to us by the native inhabitants as a bleek, desaturated "kingdom of shells". Qlipploth occasionally make entry into our world, much like demons might. They usually arrive in groups of 5-8 entities. And are generally more of a threat to the dead than they are the living. They are harvesters. Like demons, they covet the sparks of divinity within humanity. But unlike demons, if you throw out a barrier of light energy, they will literally eat through it. But if you dish out an attack with the element, it will be super effective. They are surprisingly technical beings. Forget to shield yourself psychically, and they will sink their tendrals into the cracks of your form, and completely mess you up. They mostly harvest the spark of divinity from the spirits of humans. And are surprisingly effective at it. So be wary this halloween season. Protect your dead ancestors with the energy of WORLDLY darkness. And banish them with the light.

@willworkforisekai Well, curses? They don't have decision making capability. Curses and spells will always choose the path of least resistance. And most curses are of humans and spirits that are parallel to us. Demonic curses are something I can protect against pretty easily. But recently, I encountered a ghost of someone practiced in the ceremonial magicks who had enslaved many demons during his life time, and man, I had to completely gut out my old psychic defense systems on me, my spirit team, and my home, and rebuild it from scratch. AND IT STILL WASN'T ENOUGH. No alone demon could touch love as a force. But a human can. So I had to go outside the box myself. No telling how long this one will hold up. Now you're right on the whole thing about rap music being a curse in the systemic sense. The stuff put out by the major labels at least are an attack against black intellectualism. As is the private prison industrial complex, where the breadwinners of black homes are targeted and imprisoned disproportionately to white people for the same crimes, even if they actually do pose a threat towards society. Again though. It is of man. Demons can't create. They are Vessels of Ruin. It takes Man to make a System of Ruin like that. And the denizens of darkness can only thrive in the shadow of that creation. We're more complete souls than they are. We are limited creators ourselves.
