Political rants
Chocopyro @chocopyro
I know. I'm prejudice against Israel from a geopolitical standpoint, and Hamas as well. Doesn't mean I hate jews or the Sunni. I'm also not a big fan of China or Russia. Some of my online friends come from those nations. So what's this issue I'm not addressing? I didn't leave out shit. But let's backpedal just a bit. What was the thing you were talking about? The voting ID thing?
Oh yes, Systemic racism? Bitch, I'm Appalachian. Location is a big part of the issue you left out. When people, say those of darker complexion, or those who were deemed the "Less white", according to a turn of the century idea called Eugenics, are forced to live in segregated areas like ghettoes, or the hills, trade and revenue tends to stagnate or leave the area, resulting in poverty which makes it hard to get any sort of momentum in escaping said areas.
Now let's get back to the voter ID thing. Inherently, that is not racist. What it is is a slap in the face of democracy, if anything. But who does it target? Those with less resources, less access to the world, and less knowledge. In low income neighborhoods, the focus is usually surviving to the next paycheck. The good jobs aren't in your area. So you're probably working 12 hour shifts from 7 to 7. Work basically becomes your life at that point. By the time you make it out, most municipal offices are closed. And they open after you wake up and head to work. In a lot of cases, you have to call off work for a day to get the beaurocratic shit situated. And if you have kids, this is even harder to manage. That means you take a day off work when you're already surviving with minimal disposable income. And a lot of these places don't do PTO. So you really have to care a LOT about democracy or a particular issue to take a day off work just to register for what should be a constitutional right to cast a vote.
Add to that, poorer places tend to have a problem that normally only urban explorers need to deal with called LEAD PAINT. When that shit ages, it crumbles, it gets all over your hair and on your clothes, and somehow often ends up in our hands when we try to eat something. You know what ingesting led paint does to kids, right? Just another thing to worry about when most of your money goes to sink holes like the crumbling water pipes in your building. Add to that, disabilities have a tendency to go undiagnosed out here. And since a lot of the people still in these low income neighborhoods have been there for generations, a lot of us tend to be minorities who remain unable to escape these generational cesspits our ancestors were vacuumed into due to inherently racist policies of classic America long before we got our shit together.
That the important part that was left out?

It’s better to work a boring job in your 20s than to “hustle” and have fun.

Just a rant
I can validate my heart anytime I want but that's to much like defending. I don't want to defend my image and heart. I want to accept a changed image and a changed heart.
Changes happen and instead of trying to defend against them I accept this new image. And, I'm quite alright because I stopped fighting it.
I went from wondering why I'm not liked and defending my heart and image against that to accepting that I'm not liked and being cool with that. I'm not defending my heart and image against not being liked and I'm not fighting to be liked. I just accepted a change to my image and heart.
I'm not liked I don't have to fight it I don't have to defend against it. I just accept this new change. It's not like I will die lol. It just hurted because I defended against it and fighted for it not to be so instead of accepting it and just chilling with it. It's cool I can validate my heart though. And, it's cool I can stop my primal instincts to defend myself. I'm learning which is so much fun. God is good.

Day 144: I was looking through random authors stories yesterday online and found this one story – now I sometimes don’t even actually read the story, but view the comments to see what was said first, so that’s what I did with the story I found.
Online authors are having a hard time rn with AI because they are starting to comment on people’s stories, but the comments aren’t the typical AI nonsense, they are LITERALLY bullying these poor humans (it happened to me once and I taunted it because I knew it was AI lol). Well, this one author wrote and posted their first ever story…I agreed with the AI when it said the story was bad, but the rest of what it said was absolutely disrespectful. They told this poor author that they were a disgrace to anyone that has ever written anything good and that they should just give up.
Now, I know that there are some serious jerks online, and I even had the thought this comment was AI cause the way it was worded was harsh but not necessarily in a human way, but even though I wasn’t fully sure, I made a comment scolding this possible human for such behavior. If nothing else, than for peace of mind in case it was real. I went to check in on the author today, and the poor thing deleted the story. Whether it was really AI or a real human being, it’s still upsetting this upcoming writer felt so discouraged they felt the need to delete it.
I did leave genuine constructive criticism for ‘em and encouraged them to keep going because that’s how we improve, but I hope if they ever re-post, it’s the best dang story anyone could ever read, and even if not, I’m just happy they tried again. - We’re Being Ragebaited By AI Now Lol: Wei-Wei

A conversation and even a relationship is a lot like two people rowing a boat: if only one side is doing all the work, it'll just keep going in circles.
