Tomorrow will be my mother's 66th birthday. She's been invited by her half-nephew, who himself is 78, to spend the day with his family. His father, who was my mother's half-brother, passed a number of years back. Though her half siblings had openly admitted to wanting zero to do with us because of the man my grandfather was, this estranged nephew has no such hang-ups especially given how he himself is not long for this world. Hopefully it will go well. My mother has next to no family left to speak of aside from her younger brother in Taiwan and another older brother in Texas. I had a good laugh when playing Master Duel before leaving for work. As usual I was using Destiny Board, however I was going up against an opponent that had a strategy based around trolling and stalling the game as a means of frustrating me for their entertainment. Ironically I would end up reverse trolling them as it turned out neither one of us could deck out or deplete the other's life points. Typically that would mean I would win by default by spelling out FINAL and winning the duel. Yet something went hilariously wrong with Destiny Board causing it to glitch out and fail to place the final letter thus winning me the game as it should have. Rather I some how broke Master Duel's logic by spelling out "FAIL" instead of FINAL.
