Trying to solve the mystery of why there are so few women looking for dates

I'd love to argue, but my waifus are prepping for the sport's fest, and I gotta cheer them on. Here, pick one and help me out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bOom2Gl704 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Oi1bzdyc64 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy432S8CM5E

Veruc that's a great poll you uncovered, nice detective work! I'm surprised to see religious beliefs rank as high as it did and that, in this age of political media overload, political affiliation came in dead last lol. Also I figured Hobbies and interests would've gotten a higher response than it did. I mean, if you don't have things in common you like to do it kinda makes it hard to have a relationship at all so it's rather crucial imo.

I'm surprised too of that. Modern media milks it so much. That it's not alot of effort to assume most women want same political affiliations. That's where I went wrong. Like mom said, never assume anything about women because you will be wrong Everytime.

Actually, as a woman that line of thinking is pretty spot on from when I was on OKCupid and the like, back in the day. I was more inclined to talk with someone that had a photo, it was important to know if they were there for something serious or just a hookup and if it was something serious, then knowing if they have children is also a big one. Everything past that kinda all meshed together into interests and then talking and getting to know someone you would find out what their living situation is, what they did for work.... not having a job wasn't a end-all deal breaker, but it definitely slowed progress down in getting to know someone. I grew up with a bust-my-ass work ethic and kinda despised lay-abouts and leeches.

I had bad experiences on OKCupid which drove me here of all places. XD

Someone told me to try okcupid years ago and it was a disaster xD

OKCupid was a disaster. More from the Pew Research: Younger women are especially likely to report having troublesome interactions on online dating platforms. About three-in-ten or more online dating users say someone continued to contact them on a dating site or app after they said they were not interested (37%), sent them a sexually explicit message or image they didn’t ask for (35%) or called them an offensive name (28%). About one-in-ten (9%) say another user has threated to physically harm them. These rates are even higher among younger women. Six-in-ten female users ages 18 to 34 say someone on a dating site or app continued to contact them after they said they were not interested, while 57% report that another user has sent them a sexually explicit message or image they didn’t ask for. At the same time, 44% report that someone called them an offense name on a dating site or app, while 19% say they have had someone threaten to physically harm them.

Yeah, if you ever want to know what it's like to be a female on a dating site, give these a try. They're hillarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXvmubO18SA

Getting abusive language and dick pics was a pretty common occurence. It was so bad I moved on to Match.com for a couple of months just to try it. It was okay in the beginning but seemed like there were an older bunch of people there than on OKCupid, but still just as skeezy. And honestly, by the time I came to MO, I wasn't here for dating. It was because I had some free time and had gotten back into anime. I made an account when I saw there were forums here.

Honestly I have so much to work on myself before I even think about looking for a relationship.
