I agree with Ya-Ya, you sound like you don't like that absolutely no one that has commented is in agreement with the prospect of you wanting to cheat. If your happiness is derived from cheating and possibly hurting someone else (even if it's the person that hurt you) or, at the very least, your family (and not saying your wife hasn't done things to hurt the family either, but we are talking about YOU and not whatever she's done/doing) then maybe you need to look at the real reasons why you want to do this. Cause, it's as I said before, this just sounds like you want to cheat in the hopes of hurting someone who hurt you. To reiterate: this is just what it sounds like, I'm not saying it is a fact, but it sounds like it. Like Ya-Ya also said, it's your life to do whatever you want with it. But remember, you are in control of you at the end of the day.

Maybe theirs a possibility of a open relationship if you talk with your partner lol though probably not on the table if cheating is on your mind

It's like saying that I burned down the house of my enemy, but it's fine because he wasn't home when I did it. I love the logic with the "personal happiness". You're not happy, so that somehow justifies doing a shitty thing.

You say you're talking about personal happiness to what end, and we are telling you of the possible (very negative) consequences of choosing cheating in order to be 'happy' in this 'to what end' scenario. That being said, it'd be way easier to just confess to wanting to cheat rather than doing whatever this was.
