Trying to solve the mystery of why there are so few women looking for dates

@animekid That's fair, I suppose compliments can be inferred, instead of directly stated. I still don't get many of those either lmao. Like I said, I've really only ever had compliments on my eyes or cooking. Maybe a few compliments during sports, but I also feel like that's camaraderie. I kind of want to ask the women now: Do any of you offer compliments to men IRL very often? If not, why is that? I'm curious, honestly. Is it mainly the worry of a guy taking it the wrong way?

I stopped complimenting men. Apparently they get scared in thinking I'm interested in them and they don't want someone as ugly as me going after them.

Oh yeah forgot to answer the threads question. Women do come to MO but most immediately leave after getting bombarded in dms by explicit pictures and sex crazy men. We got to remember everyone on this site is socially awkward but then there is the peak of social awkwardness the internet allows to creep in it's shadows. The lurkers.

I for one find it extremely difficult to maintain a one-to-one conversation with anyone of any gender and am always overthinking what the other may be thinking of me. So I end up saying weird stuff that I don't intend to say. .I find myself more comfortable in small groups tho surprisingly. From there on I find it relatively easier to send a DM to someone
