Trying to solve the mystery of why there are so few women looking for dates

When people ask me questions like what do you do?/where are you from?I constantly answer "I live a life"/"I'm from Earth", they think I troll them and stop replying...*shrugs

Also some guys complain about not getting a reply after some messages, that's probably because she/he doesn't know how to continue the conversation~Social awkwardness isn't limited by gender. Nothing comes out of a dry conversation about personal information.

I will say there are good guys on this site that want a relationship even if they do tend to get overshadowed by the negative experiences girls have getting DMs from the not so great side of the coin. I get the socially awkward side for many but conversations are a two way street. If it gets to the point where it just feels like I'm interviewing you and/or just getting a bunch of one or two word responses back it doesn't take much for someone to lose interest in that conversation after awhile. If you're genuinely interested in someone make a bit more of an effort to ask them about their lives, goals, interests, etc. It's not hard to keep your chat partner engaged.

I know I can be very hard to talk to, very few people are able to bring a good conversation out of me. I always feel bad when I just don't know what to say.

Don't ask them questions about their dreams, hobbies, interests, lives if they have written those on their bios...Ask the details, details, details.

Most of the time I end up talking with the 2-replies-then-ghosted. When I do find someone who doesn't do that and I start to think that there may be something possible, guess what. I become the last-resort chatting buddy. So I prefer not to interact with anyone instead of interacting with someone who only remembers me when they have nothing to do.
