I might not be posting this in the right forum, but it's along similar lines. Tonight I attended an anime bar event for speed dating where it was cancelled eventually due to women not showing up, but what made me upset was the guys whose reactions to this was calling them all "bitches" and how he was gonna leave "with a boner". No class or decorum whatsoever for alot of these guys. What happened to romance? There was a time where a man laid his heart and feelings bare for a woman out of pure intentions mostly for the sake of her existence igniting his soul made him happy just to be next to her. This age in dating isn't for me. This isn't a damn hobby. If anything this for me is desperately seeking someone who ignites my soul and heart as it once did years ago. This made me lose hope not just for myself, but for humans entirely. I feel I'm the last man standing who would always show up for someone no matter how scared I was or how much anxiety suffocated my lungs. Hell, I once loved someone so strong I put myself in harm's way so many times just to get one more chance to see that smile. Granted I was foolish to trust so easily in someone who thought so little of me and was ashamed of me. However, I learned my lesson. So seeing this amateur horny assholes with no ounce of passion complain about PUSSY makes me want to beat their asses. I'm home now so I didn't go off but damn.....

Hol’ up,.. Uh.... I thought you were dating someone? Soooo... Anime speed dating event, you say? To be honest, I'd expect VERY few to show up for such a niche kind of thing. Imma keep my opinions about things to myself...lol https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ftd5ovwJ5-M lol

Ngl it's the only speed dating event I would have probably been drawn to. And I would have judged harshly on taste.

Duh... Be like "All these damn otaku.... What a bunch of losers." and then proceed to gush about my favorite series. I get it, I'd of liked that sort of thing, but I do realize that's sort of niche.lol

I remember only going to one speed dating event back in college. Surprisingly enough there were more women than men there. Personally I found it all to be very forced, awkward, and boring. Even though I was really really wanting a girlfriend at the time I didn't even bother asking for any phone numbers because I wasn't interested. It just seems like a format that is too forced, you know? maybe others have luck with it.
