I was always that one person who would always take care of everyone and sacrifice himself to help others. I still participate in charity projects, for example every winter we go to visit senior people who have a hard time taking care of themselves due to age. We clean their houses, make some food with the stuff we bring and then talk with them so that they could feel happy. Also a few years ago there was a certain conflict that made my grandma lose her house due to law or something and she needed money to start living in a flat. I decided to give my money that I have saved during the summer while working. I love my grandma so much and I felt the need to help her when she needed it
Yeah, I'm like Oyabun @senpaisamasan in that I'm nice and try to see the good in others. If I find out they are an ugly human being on the inside, they are dead to me. I don't waste any time or energy on them unless they have something I need.
Going off of what @yaasshat said, I think a lot of people do selfless acts without expecting any kind of reward. Most selfless acts are done because it makes the person feel good about themselves doing it. A truly selfless person in my opinion would be a psychopath.
Yo, That's the opposite of selfless if you dislike someone you use them if they have something you need? isn't a selfless act being willing to help out an individual not use them?
a truly selfless person in my opinion would be a retard. it might look like they arent doing anything but they actually are. we on this site might be nice to each other but we do it because why not? the quiet ones do more but maybe sometimes they are psychopaths.
I know for certain one individual on here who is the most selfless of all.
Aleph exhibits all traits necessary to be an altruistic saint. Taking time out of his busy day to scroll through dozens of forum threads so that he may gift an added two cents is nothing short of philanthropic!
My if we could all be as thoughtful as to give carefully crafted pearls of wit the world would be a much different place.
With that I thank Aleph everyday for being the poster child of selfless leadership. @whodatbe123
Selfish in any other scenario. Can't give a fuck about evil.

Also, a selfless person would not say they are selfless.
It's pretty hard to truly be selfless. I would say me giving everything for my son counts, just not according to what I'm trying argue.
