Wouldn't that make you a hypocrite? I mean, unless you already, truly know yourself (Impossible thing to do since we're constantly growing and evolving as individuals. Almost a conundrum, if you will.). Edit: Got to thinking.... For me? It's being who you say you are. While life brings about change, who I fall in love with will hopefully not change why, but instead add to the reasons I did. Life is never Hollywood, it's never Disney happily ever after, but one can hope and try until they succeed at finding unwavering truth as a foundation.

You can know yourself well enough at a given moment, but like you said, knowing yourself truly takes a lifetime, and even then, you aren't done. However, doing shadow mending and similar practices is a good way to get up to speed fast.
