How do you react when asked for a date

doppleman
What does it take for you to accept a date? How do you react when someone asks you to go on a date? What is the proper way to ask you for a date? What are you expecting from a first date? I really need to know. I would also find it interesting to compare female and male answers. If they are similar or very different. Here's my answers, to be fair: - Good looking and preferably from the otaku culture. Must have talked at least a bit before. I just don't want a total stranger to ask me for a date. - If requirements ↑ are met. YES, what are your interests? According to the answer: Let's go to movie/restorant/arcades/walk... - It doesn't really matter how you ask me. I prefer a direct approach. - First date: I'm expecting a lot of informations to know if it's worth a second date.

iv been asked out by rando's (once a weird old man asked me out on my way from school, wtf) and everytime i of course said no i wouldnt date someone i didnt know first, so for me to accept him we'd have to be friends first so i know more about him to see. i dont date for fun, if i go out with someone its with the intentions for marriage. a chad once asked for my number, he was a nice dude and was pretty cute, but i had no interest in him because he was, well, a normie only anime he ever watched was DBZ and though he was nice, he clearly looked down on anime fans it's really hard for me to turn people down, and i ended up dating someone because of this inability, but iv learned from my mistakes so i guess if a guy asked me out, was clearly into anime or something else i like, id probz give him my email and ask to be friends first and see where it goes from there https://media1.tenor.com/images/dbe1ca7fdb532cf96a9bea40fa1f406e/tenor.gif?itemid=9724581

for me it depends. alot of times prior interaction not necessarily knowing someone well but knowing them in everyday life definitely helps seeing someone how they normally are but alot of times idk i just get a gut feeling i guess you can just sense if someone is worth your time. being attractive is a bonus but if a girl is chubby im not one to turn away My main thing is someone who has interesting shit to say i meet alot of women with the emotional depth of a puddle and zero character whatsoever.I just want someone who loves culture and is adventurous in general not a empty shell of a person. liking anime otaku culture I WOULD LOVE to find but it is incredibly rare to find girls who share that interest for me :/.

I need to know the person well enough before I can accept a date. I tend to react casually at face value, but in my mind I'm thinking about the reason why they would want initiate a date with me in the first place. In the back of my mind, I feel there is a reason why someone wanted to date me and I spend most of the time analyzing my surroundings and their behavior. If the date is just to have fun, then I can probably say things went pretty well. Sometimes I feel people date me just for an escape, just to have someone to lean on at the time. If that's the case, I tend to not think much of it. All I can do is make the most of things if I go along with it. People come and go, it's kind of hard for me to get excited over these things. To ask me out on a date, I would need an honest reason why you would initiate the request. As far as the date goes, I just go with the flow. I don't necessarily have anything in particular planned so I tend to pick a spot that's pretty busy/active. I tend to not want to set myself up when it comes to planning dates since things tend to never go the way we’d imagine it especially when it really counts. I tend to like shopping and dining out someplace with a good atmosphere. I'd love to go see a concert if they're on and maybe go for a walk around town. Having a gaming buddy would be nice, if they're into that sort of thing. I’ve met people who are active and are into sports, so it’s kind of fun watching them go all out and showing me the ropes so in a way I would end up learning something new that day. I remember binging on an entire series with someone once, maybe that could be on the list of things to do.

Never been asked out, so I wouldn't know.

What does it take for you to accept a date? Well, I personally would just have to overthink about who I'm about to go on a date with and that nothing in my life will conflict with theirs such as interests, family and etc in which I've actually had happen to me. How do you react when someone asks you to go on a date? I most likely will think about it for awhile then oblige to go cause nothing hurts. What is the proper way to ask you for a date? Anyway really, I prefer it to be in person but text is alright but not the best way but anything goes nowadays. What are you expecting from a first date? A date where I'd actually be able to walk and talk with this person in a park or something relaxing rather than buy food and spend money on stuff lul. In which that situation hasn't happened yet... :(
