How do you react when asked for a date

I usually say yes to most girls who ask me directly because I know it takes serious gonads to do that. Usually though girls ask me out through other people and those other people almost always have an agenda, cause its usually her male BFF who just got major depression and jealousy and has started plotting my death with his creepy semi-stalker eyes. I'm usually very cautous when its that situation.

I've never been asked out before. Usually whenever I had the courage to ask a girl if she wanted to be friends I do feel like there's always an immediate awkwardness or misunderstanding. Like, this one time when I was taking a Visual Arts Media class one semester at my university. There was one girl, a talented artist from what I've seen. She seemed nice enough and, so I had asked one day if she wanted to hang out as friends outside of class or something like that? She declined politely. Though, the reason she gave was that she had a boyfriend and he was Armenian and so was she. Supposedly he was a jealous person? But whatever, I just shrugged that off. Although if I was asked out by a girl my reaction would definitely be this.

"sure, where?" literally all my replies

I've never been asked out by a random person before but my first thought would be: 1) Is this woman high? 2)Is this woman drunk? 3)Is this woman having a psychological breakdown and need medical help? If none of these do not apply I would probably start foaming from the mouth and having a seizure because does not compute.

The only guys who asked me out were unknown/strangers. Of course that never went anywhere.
