Any Luck?

Hey guys I've been on this site for a little over a year. Just wondering if anyone's gotten any luck? I was under the impression it was a dating site but seems more like a friend site :p

honestly, most "dating" sites are either A)Scam sites (I.E pay to get your messages read and B.S like that) or social sites. this is just a social site with a que on singles, as you can see on the site theirs nothing really about it for dating, the "matchs" is very limited and never updating, no tests to test chemistry/sex/love/affection outcomes to better find matchs, no relationship profiles. its basically a Social networking site but advertised to single people to attract more Otaku you'll probably have better luck going to GAIA or IMVU or something if you want a relatioship that much. But I do Hear of people being in relationships with others on here, but its most likely a RP thing like in most Anime sites.

It's a dating site that doesn't work well as a dating site so people pretend it isn't one to save face. This is because it attracts too many emotionally unstable kids, and tons of awkward desperate guys who unintentionally drive women away and unbalances the userbase in the process while giving the remaining women superiority and entitlement complexes. It's like the site is in a three way stalemate. One side has entitled women holding out for some perfect prince that will never come so they settle with offline relationships instead, another side has the roalplaying kids who can't or wont enter into serious relationships with each other so they treat the site like a playground instead, and then you got the guys that harass new comers in vain hopes of snagging someone or take part in the role playing and forum games hoping it'll eventually lead to a real relationship.

Yeah he sums it up pretty nicely many of the girls I met on here are very shy :x but it's all in good fun I guess, :} I also notice I'm among the older crowd :x

QFT@neet-one, and yeah this site is horrible at being at dating site, and a bad place at finding proper friends as well. All the thread tends to fizzle down to a meaningless image posting or a pointless post that kills the thread entirely (I did the same one or twice), thus killing any opportunities to let people to go deeper in the discussion and maybe get to know each other a lot better. Dating? given up on that already since 2014. Friends, still hold the little thread of hope as I harass newcomer.

I don't even consider this a dating site anymore, I only managed to meet one person on here (it was a LDR) but it didn't last long and it didn't even bother me when he dumped me. As far as making friends on here, its okay it just annoys me that when i add people to my friends list they never end up talking or when they do talk they only say like one thing and that's it. It also feels like i have to start/initiate the conversation 99% of the time and it gets tiring.
