A friend of mine told me it would be a good site for casual conversation, and not to think of it as a dating site. Though I could careless for that, anyway i like forums and chats about anime as I don't have the opportunity to talk to others about it. As far as dating goes I'm not interested in the slightest, I just crave a good conversation. Oh but I did forget he did meet a girl on this site and they've been together since, and are very happy with their situation so it's not a complete bust I guess.

Honestly I agree with you guys but I seriously would consider a long distance relationship if they were into it, which seems to lean more towards role playing,... I've been in a few long distance relationship... but most of them aren't willing to uproot themself and move... it is what it is... I'm content with meeting people with the same interest, I guess I never really expected to find love on this site :p But don't give up guys! there's someone out there for everyoneeeeeee

Unless your looking for and/or dont mind a LDR, your chances of finding someone locally on here are kinda low. Living in a more populous state like CA, FL, NY, or TX probably gives you a little better of a chance but not much of one. I think most everyone hit the main points. Disproportionate amount of guys to girls, people already in relationships, people only looking for friends, not interested in a heterosexual relationship, too much of an age gap with many users, majority of active users too spread out, too many abandoned accounts, etc. I've had a bit of luck in recent months with a LDR, but due to personal reasons had to put it on hold for now.
