Clingy people, turn on/off?

sunflower
Yup But it is hard to determine the right amount of clingyness

I tend to like my alone time, but it's also nice to have someone that wants to spend that much time with you.

I find that a little bit of clingy-ness can be cute. However, a person who is too clingy can be annoying. When you're dating someone, you don't have to be with each other 24/7.

I don't like clingy cause working for the government even if it's some crappy ass job means I spend a lot of time in a government building.

I'd rather a person be clingy than distant.

Big turn on for a companion of mine. As for me, I'm clingy but ONLY when I get close/ Trust you. If my significant other wants me to spend all my time with them so shall it be.

I think I'm in the middle... When I'm working I don't think about anything or anyone Outside of work I just wanna talk to that person however if they're working I wait

Depends on the personality of the person being asked, the social norms, and the definition of clingy. Clingy as in affectionate. YES! Affectionate people rock, but sometimes people don't like to be touched and need their space. If you mean clingy as in needy. It is nice to be needed, but I prefer an independent person that recognizes the time when they do need help. Clingy as in passive or submissive. It is a bit of grey area. When I think of clingy, I think of a person that needs constant attention and without some type of identity of their own. That is not attractive...Though if you were with a person for many years and the person allows to show their vulnerable side to a loved one. Yeah that is okay. =)

I don't think I would be able to satisfy the need of interaction that a clingy person has.. So they would be unhappy in a relationship with me. So I guess it's a turn off.
