Have you ever tried inviting friends to MO? If so how did it go? So far two people I know have signed up here, and both left soon after...

I know a few people who would join this site. Sadly most of them are taken and therefore not interested in dating sites, even when I try to explain to them that the site is more about community than dating. And of course most of my female friends have had problems with dating sites in general. Yeah, I invited somebody I've known for a long time after she asked about it. I think she may leave soon though with all the creepers floating around. Chocopyro captures the essence of the desperation on this site perfectly! XD
