What's money mean to you?

Financial security, I don't want to live paycheck to paycheck. I was poor at one point..grabbing the bucket to borrow hot water from my neighbors since we had none, no electricity for sometimes days at a time and plenty of other stuff. I remember those days and I'm not going to back to that at all..don't want any of my future children to have that struggle either, it's why I work as hard as I do and constantly push myself to advance even further in life. So money for me is just financial security..however it's a catch 22 for me, I'm so focused at times on making more money, making my life better(Mind you my lifestyle is fine now, but for some reason I have a constant hunger for more and that's the problem)..I do all this and wonder why I don't have a woman, why I'm always tired etc. It will all pay off in the long run though.

Money is very important in life and can buy anything even love as well. I'm trying to work toward my goal on making money but it always not enough. I see money as an exchange for happiness. I don't get why many of you said money is nothing. Be realistic, it is important unless you are lying to yourself. Your important person can betray you for money. Doesn't mean much to me. Sure pay for bills and medical stuff but that's pretty much it. I'm not really as materialistic like most people are.

Gamer, I hate to admit it but it's true that love is a joke in today's modern society. People love you when you're rich and don't give a crap about you when you're poor. That's just reality. Even those who give the lower end guys a chance will take better offers when they come about and 'love' them instead. If you wanna shack up with someone who's only with you for your money then I certainly wont stop you, lots of people do that, but I really don't think you should call it love, because it's not. Gold diggers aren't a whole lot better than prostitutes. Love isn't a fancy car or a big house, just as love isn't big tits or a nice ass. I know it's naive and kinda silly but I like to think real love transcends stuff like that. I know it's hard.. or down right impossible these days even, but I think you'd be better off holding out for a girl that will stick with you even if you loose all your money. If nothing else just try to remember that gold diggers wont necessarily stay with you just because you have money, they're just as likely to divorce you when the timing is right and rob you blind. That's why a lot of well off guys pretend to be poor, because they know flaunting money will only attract the worst type of people out there.

Money does not mean much to me. I simply need it in order to maintain my lifestyle nothing more nothing less. Perhaps when kids become a factor it will be more important to me because ill have people depending on me.
