Advice on something serious

Some of you may know but I'm currently spending my holidays at my mom's in Paris. She lives in an apartment in a quiet neighbourhood where everyone knows each other and they all get along. A few floors up, lives this old, obese, sick lady. She sometimes asks my little brothers to help her carry stuff and whatever. The thing is, that woman, she's a pedofile. I won't go into details but I was one of her victims. I never told anyone, and I don't know if she's done it to anyone else. I haven't been here in so long that she doesn't even recognize me. Today I saw her again, it gave me the creeps. I don't have ill feelings towards her but I though I should tell someone, just in case. Problem is, it's not like I have any proof, and knowing my mother, she most likely will go to the police, and I don't want her to get in trouble with the neighbours for something that probably won't go anywhere. What do you guys think?

Should probably tell the police yourself so they can be aware of it in case someone else comes forward in the future with actual proof. I dont know how it works but probably best if you at least do something about it. Would give you some peace of mind :P

If you think kids in the area might be in danger then it's probably best to report her. In situations like this proof is often hard to come by so I think police will still look into it even if all they have is your testimony.

Like tell the cops dude...whatever happened to you could happen to some other kid, she might even get away with it unless you let people know

Do you have any evidence to show to the police though? It's really hard to arrest a pedo when he/she hasn't done anything yet. But! since you've been a victim, you could tell the police about what happened to you. Take care of your little brothers.
