Oh I see, so it was both anime and manga. That's a shame. Gakuen no Alice had great potential. Like I don't typically watch/read a lot of shoujo anime, or manga but I was really interested in Gakuen no Alice. I really liked that it revolved around an academy where students had different unique powers. I don't remember a whole lot of the story, but I remember a lot of the good moments. Hotaru was my favorite character in the show and just an awesome friend to Alice. She had this blank expression that's just really funny. But yeah, I love Studio Ghibli. I've seen pretty much all of their films aside from a couple like Tales of Princess Kaguya, Secret of Arietty(I do have it but I haven't sat down to really watch it yet. xD), I haven't seen My Neighbor the Yamadas yet either or Pom Poko. Either way, they're all so gorgeous and there's so much heart and passion into those movies if you ever get a chance to watch more of them. My absolute favorite is Laputa: a Castle in the Sky. It was my first ghibli movie I ever saw and it's the reason why I love animation so much like to this day. Like it's from the late 1987, but it still looks so good even today. The story is so very interesting and well written from beginning to end, the characters are so lovable and memorable, and the score is so brilliant. It's my favorite out of all of Joe Hisaishi's work. Anyways, better not get too carried away. xD Oh yeah, as for the Sea Prince and the Fire Child(Or Syrius no Densetsu), it's pretty underrated, and obscure imo. It's from the early 80's but it tends to get overlooked for some reason or not many people know about it. It's shame cause it's such an interesting charming little movie, and it's got a disney esque style to it, so you'd probably appreciate it a lot especially if you've got a love for Disney movies. xP

Usually mangas are better than the anime from what I've noticed. xD I was thinking of checking out the Gakuen manga at some point but I never got around to it. So it felt unfinished? Or were you referring to the anime? I do remember the ending of the anime felt unresolved even though I did like it. Weathering with you sounds like a really interesting, beautiful movie especially since you enjoyed it! Thanks for not spoiling it. xD I'm gonna check it out for sure! It's been awhile since I saw an anime film. The last animated film I saw was "The Sea Prince and the Fire Child" or "Syrius no Densetsu." I really liked that movie a lot. Oh, I've also heard the Silent Voice is really good too. I read the manga of it a couple of years back and it absolutely touched my soul. I was curious what the anime adaptation was like. xP

Oh yeah, I remember Gakuen Alice! Although I don't remember a whole lot about it but it seemed like a cute anime and the concept was a pretty cool idea. Also, I was amazed that Romi Park voiced Hotaru. She was really good. I've heard of weathering with you what kind of anime is it?
