Baka @reinhardt76 .thats good!! The most I “wasted” on a relationship was two years but I honesty spent the time trying to make her hate me....it never worked and I’m not proud of how I ended it. Im sure you’ll end up in one within the next month or so!

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 Most people can't here. It's ridiculous. Something needs to be done with the housing market or mininum wage for Texas workers. Believe it or not that is not even the lowest wage. The lowest is $7.25 an hour here.

yaasshat @yaasshat Federal minimum is $7.25, unfortunately. However, night work usually pays a differential. Learn how to run heavy machinery, lifts 'n what not and most places pay higher for workers who can run a forklift, for instance. You can start off at a hardware store (Even Wal-Mart has forklift operators), get trained on thier machines, look for better work where they need or want a forklift operator (Of course, you'll have to actually stay at the lower paying job first while trying for a bit and then hopefully find better.). Not much help, but where I'm at, a forklift operator can start off at around $20 per hour or so. Also, don't be shy of more than one job, gotta do what ya gotta do to survive.

yaasshat @yaasshat And, don't forget that schooling. Apply for FAFSA and at least get into a certificate program. Better than nothing.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 We are temporarily staying with someone right now, but they are getting fed up it feels like. We are trying to figure what to do and fast. My brother wants to move together with us soon so that we can both at least afford a one bedroom apartment. He makes the same as me. The government needs to get their shit together.

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu There is minimum wage and a live-able wage. I did some math with my income (at 16 an hour) and the lower end rent prices in the area and it makes no sense for me to move out because my income would pretty much equal my expenses and one unforeseen expense could put me in a bind.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 Exactly Napalm. I did the same research and it would take $21.21 an hour to live comfortably in an apartment or a low end rent house.

Panda-kun™ @hell_hound7 If i were you look into finding a better job, cuz honestly thats slave labor right there. You cant afford a place and if you cab then you wont be able to live life cuz you are stuck paying bills.

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu Anything less than 10 an hour pretty much is slave labor - pretty much only good for teenagers or like 18 year olds venturing into having their first job (or a part time gig to help fund college). For the most part nowadays you either need some manual skill (like welding) or a bachelors in something (except the medical field there are some two year programs that can do you good). Paralegal is good (what I went for) but only if you live in a large metropolitan area. To make decent money I'd have to move to NYC or philly which the higher cost of living offsets.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 I have manual labor skills if they could give me the experience wages they promised me. I should be making $11.25 an hour not $8.25. I am gonna talk to the store manager soon about it.

SnakeePoo @solid_snake95 I get what you mean Panda, but my situation is very difficult right now to just get try to find a better paying job. Plus all the jobs around me in the area pay the same or less.

[DERP] Napalm @napalmamaterasu It really isn't that easy to jump paygrades like that anymore. A one income household isn't feasible for many anymore.
