A bit late posting this, but Metrocon in Tampa FL was a blast. Lots of great cosplays, great Rave nights and came back with a good set of autographs for my Zelda, Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen collections. Also got some cute scented candles for my apartment while I was there. Don't have their card to tag them in this post, but may posy about them again later as they are a quality product and smell great!

September I'm planning on attending animeverse in Pasadena TX. It's a smaller convention but that's exactly what I need after moving back to my hometown. It's a good opportunity to see old faces, as well as, some new ones to be acquainted with. Feels like I have been gone on some long journey and finally came home.

Probably a combination of:
-Me simply not knowing how to meet new people irl, or when I do I have zero idea how to go beyond just small-talk and actually ask someone out without coming off as weird, or too strong, or misreading signals, or idek I have untreated ADHD which probably doesn't help this aspect lol
-the fact that I enjoy crossdressing/crossplay and am open and honest about this to most people and I'm fairly certain it is a big turn-off for many women.
-Choosing to save myself for marriage, and in turn expecting either the same from a significant other or at least a very low amount of previous partners and still being cool with a sexless relationship till marriage (I imagine this is the big one)
-I am very particular about who I consider dating because my end-goal is marriage, life-long companionship, and starting a family and I cannot imagine not putting a lot of thought into choices like this
At least I have the luxury of having my issues be mostly self-imposed I guess *shrugs*

Thanks, I love my swords, I've had them since I was little, so I don't think I'll bring the actual sword for any cons. Don't want to have problems with them.

Chocopyro @chocopyro Yeah, the swords I bring to cons are made for larp, so they're foam.
princess_snow @princess_snow I made one out of wood once that I could bring, but since I plan to use this during a dance it would probably be better to go without a sword.
