正義の味方 @gundamu Welp, stuff happens. I had opportunities when I was a teen for sure but I wasn't really interested. Was too focused on weeb stuff and video games (I still am actually) and now that I'm a working adult and stuff it's even more of a non-priority. :v

I found this article quite offensive :P(I found this article in a thread about filthy foreigners on Zhihu)...In fact, points listed in this article can be applied to girls in other Asian countries. Some people are so annoying~~

正義の味方 @gundamu Oh, I actually read that article before. I forgot how exactly I stumbled upon it though. It...definitely stereotypes Chinese women heavily. I always cringe a bit whenever I see anyone show a severe amount of fetishism towards a specific ethnic group

正義の味方 @gundamu Oh man, that was both embarrassing to read through and watch. Especially when the tourist tried to scream like he was the victim of an unwarranted assault or something. :v

A random page.....
BurningHalo @burninghalo udder... weird word. it just sounds funny.
BurningHalo @burninghalo Udders
Lishifu @hakutaku *takes a look at it and looks up it in a dictionary for detailed information*
udder (n.)
Old English udder "milk gland of a cow, goat, etc.," from Proto-Germanic *udr- (source also of Old Frisian uder, Middle Dutch uyder, Dutch uijer, Old High German utar, German Euter, and, with unexplained change of consonant, Old Norse jugr), from PIE *eue-dh-r "udder" (source also of Sanskrit udhar, Greek outhar, Latin uber "udder, breast").
So weird...

正義の味方 @gundamu Very interesting. I ended up watching other videos on that guy's channel. Ancient Japanese really reminds me of various other South East Asian languages.
Lishifu @hakutaku Do you know of some other South East Asian languages?
正義の味方 @gundamu No I never looked into learning them, I'm mostly just relating a bit of what I've heard before of languages like Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, etc with it.
Lishifu @hakutaku Probably some words in Japanese have the same origins as those languages'...
Lishifu @hakutaku Many pronunciations of Japanese words are based off 漢音/呉音..Their Japanese meanings are the same as their meanings in ancient Chinese. For example, 饅頭/まんじゅう. Nowadays, in China, only people whose dialect is 呉音 will regard 饅頭 to be stuffed buns...In Mandarin, 饅頭 is steamed buns without any stuff..
