godspell @godspell It does. Its basically about gambling all stakes. Like it turnaround really quick story wise from the first chapters to risking your life for money or benefits or anything of the sort. The art is Fantastic easily the best gambling manga because it has such a large amount of chapters

godspell @godspell So a guy who used to be part of a huge organization had a chance to beat the leader but he lost all his money and his life but the leader said he's not worth it. So he has to start over from the beginning. So I like how their our butlers that are considered the elite to officiate these matches and a network to keep the matches fair and follow through on bets

godspell @godspell Kakegurui but better in my opinion they're way more complicated and simple in a way. Where hanged man was hanged man. Where you lose in rock paper scissor your tile goes higher until you reach the noose

Lamby @momoichi the issue with kakegurui was there were no stakes, you knew the girls would stay safe. does the main guy ever lose like kaiji does?

godspell @godspell Hmm so far no. Its been close like he can lose an eye. But characters can die at any point. The stakes are very high in each game.

Lamby @momoichi meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh the girls in kakeguri got close to losing sometimes but because it never hapened, you knew they would stay safe. spoiler, but in the end the black haired girl does die, but lol guess what that also wasnt true shes still alive. lame.

godspell @godspell I have no idea though i know he does lost which Is what starts the events. But if he loses again even I'm not sure because I stop at chapter 160 out of 500. Because i felt like I'm missing key points so I wanna reread it. My favorite butler refree has the yakuza hair because he was a delinquent

Lamby @momoichi if the only stakes are death he will never lose. kaiji worked well because when he losed he was just tortured and maimed. i might read it though when im done with monster, but only cause i like boichi's art style

godspell @godspell There was a serial "killer" what he did wasn't kill you if you lost to him. He takes your "memory" of a certain date that pertain with more money for it. Turns out he takes your alibi for the murder that happen that date and gave it to a person who committed said crime

godspell @godspell well the police are corrupt and our the opposite opposition against the gambling organization who are aware of their existence. So the killer had a membership but worked with the police. People who pay the highest can commit atrocious acts without problem. As long as they have an alibi and the person who loses it becomes the main suspect

Lamby @momoichi dogs dont care if they have their nuts or not xD they live in the moment, not the past. but he might be a little old to be fixed if i remember correctly. its not good to anesthetize older dogs, especially small ones. humping is only natural, and is a nonviolent way to show dominance, so as long as tonton lets him and doesnt fight back, its a good thing. is tonton fixed? because if tonton fights back it might be because hes too aggressive, and less testosterone would help chill him out.
