But it was father fault putting that blame on him and manipulating. Even though he's disgusted by him calling him the devil child.

godspell @godspell Well the butterflies are technically villians but apparently they wanna take over our world in the shadows to prevent the human race from killing ourselves like they did on their planet. But peacemaker chose to kill them to give everyone freedom of choice. So suicide squad been revealed to the public so right now idk what'll happen
godspell @godspell The justice league do show up in the show btw. Also Peacemaker didn't get with the blonde girl. She took 2 shotgun shells so she's in rehab to walk again. We won't see her until black Adam. So we'll see where her story goes

Lamby @momoichi an ajin like satou recovers fast, and satou has roughly the same arms as deadpool would (guns exposives ect) satou never really uses his doppelganger for fights, so it would be weapn verses weapon. they were both black ops, so id be super interested in seeing the fight. i think satou edges out because he recovers faster though, and all he has to do to recover from an injury is kill himself BUT satou is old, and hes never fought someone with as much combat experience as deadpool.

it has good potential but they absolutely ruin it with cliches, and it has no idea what 'subtly' is

godspell @godspell Eagly is badass. I think there's no point of the show besides to show how dc can be trying to balance out right. But for me this show vigilante steals the show. I watch the show just for him
Lamby @momoichi i REALLY wanted to see what was up with vigilante (he gave me huge Syndrome vibes) but i turned it off when he fell for the girl who beat the guy up. right then and there. i called it right when he walked into the bar that she was the love interest and he would fall for her when she beat up the guy that hit on her. called it and it actually happened and i turned it off. over used cliche and they hadnt even fleshed the girl out enough to make us like her enough to make her the love interest. his dad was too on the nose too. peacemaker didnt act towards his dad like someone who was emotional abused would act, and the whole "not like i missed you or anything baka' thing was way too early on in the show. built their relationship and ease into the whole "abusive dad actually loves his son" moments. its an extremely impactful trope and they just threw it away with a line of dialogue in the first episode. show, dont tell.

godspell @godspell I mean James Gunn rewrote guardians. Because the guardians are nothing like their comic counter parts. They even changed the comics to be similar to their character and personalities. So hes used to changing or combining things together
godspell @godspell Because peacemaker was a politician campaigning for peace however terrorism pushed him to the point to take up a gun. Vigilante from the show lost his family he says he has. In the comics he lost them because it was a warning for his lawyer practice for persecuting the wrong people
Lamby @momoichi where did that space for it come from?? it wasnt underground, so unless its a portal to a pocket dimension there is no reason for it to be that big. plus, you need money to get something that big and complex. hes clearly retired and likely living on a fixed income. and no this isnt 'over thinking it' the scene was jarring enough to ruin the immersion of the show! i liked the little number pad to the secret room, but not a huge ass office building full of technology! for what!? the guy uses a normal ass gun!

godspell @godspell He did tell vigilante its a pocket dimension when they broke in. I mean he designed peacemaker stuff. He even has one sabotage to kill his son too. Peacemaker was created in 1966 so he had a lot to be modernized as they could

Lamby @momoichi i hard that benders voice actor is still in negosiations, but in general im not for a reboot. the later seasons after the (second reboot i think? first or second) really sucked. they had plots that were more weird than scifi and felt uncreative. the finale with fry and lela's relationship was all that felt genuine, and it was sweet, but everything else was terrible really. im more interested what writers will be returning and who new are they bringing on.

Lamby @momoichi D: why? the comedy is classic, matt stone and tray parker are comedic genius's. not every season is the best, sure, but even when its bad its still watchable. its not all poop and fart jokes, the humor is really witty, and they wield shock humor better than any other series
Lamby @momoichi futurama had some of the best episodes of television. my personal favorite is the holophone episode, just thinkin about the ending makes me teary. frys dog also had a horribly depressing ending, but id argue the core of the episode was lacking otherwise, where as the holophone episode was entertaining start and finish
