I have a lot of issues with writing it, especially since I try to keep things as canon as possible for the very small chance that the original sees it and decides to make it canon. (Which is why I haven't finished my Tokyo Ghoul fanfic.)

I guess I'm included. Captain Falcon from F-ZERO franchise was a cross between him and Max Rockatansky from Mad Max series.
From his punches and kicks to his vehicle being another "Falcon" vehicle.
And Segata Sanshiro actor is Kamen Rider 1st:

Man, the story, you can see huge strides of change and maturity in the characters, honestly. It's really interesting to see a character grow with time in manga and that one really did it.
