That's quite the yikes for me personally, if it was 17 dating a 22 year old that would be a bit more acceptable in countries where the legal age of consent is 16 like here in the UK but age gaps only really work when both partners are adults imo.

It depends on how. If I became well known for being an author, sure maybe I'd welcome that. But I would never want to be a Brad Pitt or Kim Khardashian-type celebrity with tabloids written about you everyday and paparazzi following you everywhere. That shit probably gets real old, real fast. I never really liked being the center of attention, and I think it's hard not to be the more famous you are even if you try to live as a recluse for the rest of your life.

If it's not a phase, I would suggest therapy. I'm going to therapy myself this month for reasons, and I'm pretty excited and hopeful to be honest.
