Hey, Everyone! My name is Reno, and I found this site browsing around, and decided to join it in hopes to meet someone or to at least meet some awesome people who share my same interest and love for Anime. I also just recently started cosplaying, and debuted my first cosplay(you can see it on my profile) at Fanime 2012, and will cosplay again at Anime Expo on Day 3. I'm just trying to stay in Cali, and maybe go to CSU Bakersfield as a safety school because my cousin goes there. But I want to shoot for USC. Meh. Probably not going to happen even with all the sleepless nights these classes will mean for me. And I'm thinking of running another marathon, but is that going to be enough to get them to want me just from my personal statements?

G'day G'day all, had some questions regarding this convention i was looking at, for starters, how much does it cost? (per person), does one gotta cosplay to attend or can one just go as is?, and finally anyone got any advice for a first timer? (if i did choose to dress up)

You might run into those people again if you go this year. ^_^ The only people I know that will be going (besides my brothers and one bro's friend who are rooming with me) are a couple girls I went to ACen with. The downside to knowing people there, is that I won't try to talk to strangers. I walked around Anime Detour alone most of the time, not talking to anyone. I ran into one of the girls I went to ACen with (I had met her before Detour) and we hung out a bit. At ACen, I wasn't really walking around alone... When I was alone, I wouldn't talk to anyone. I might volunteer at AniMinneapolis, just to force myself to talk to others. XD

I've already responded to several topics but I guess it's time to actually introduce myself. Hello everyone. Hope to meet other fellow anime fans. I shall be attending AX 2012 in a few days so I hope to enjoy another year of it. I'm already excited on what's to come ^_^b

HI! There is absolutely nothing going on..except there's Metrocon and EXPcon? I think..those are the only cons in the area. Omg..-squee- another Floridian cosplayer..I am not alone..

I'm moving up to Missouri for college and hope to find some friends around here >,< I'll actually be living in a smaller town called Aurora, but it's not very far from Springfield and Springfield if where I'll be attending classes (psychology major ftw). Anyone else around this godforsaken area? XD
