It's just more points to ya if you have the physical characteristics of the character you're cosplay as. You don't have to have a sexy or perfect body. Hmm, I think people find picture where you're doing something you're into (Ex: Hiking) would be good. It's also a good idea to have one picture where you've shaven. Some girls are into the clean look. XD
