The End of Evangelion was more or less what the ending of the series was supposed to be but they ran out of money and that's why you got the confusing nonsense of episode 25/26. The ending of the End of Evangelion could have been better, the world was in ruins and some of humanity "may return." Not a very good or conclusive ending. They also never explained the brief vision of Rei Shinji had at the end and in episode 1.

Yasuke was a black (African) retainer who for a short time was in the service of the Japanese warlord Oda Nobunaga. The name “Yasuke” was given to him after he took service with Nobunaga. According to Histoire Ecclesiastique Des Isles Et Royaumes Du Japon, written by François Solier of the Society of Jesus in 1627, Yasuke came from Mozambique Some other accounts claim that he came from the Congo. Yasuke arrived in Japan in 1579 as the servant of the Italian Jesuit Alessandro Valignano, who had been appointed the Visitor (inspector) of the Jesuit missions in the Indies, meaning South and East Asia. He accompanied Valignano when the latter came to the capital area in March 1581 and caused something of a sensation. In one event, several people were crushed to death while clamouring to get a look at him. Nobunaga heard about and expressed a desire to see him. Nobunaga treated Yasuke with such great favor that people in Azuchi even said he would probably be made a lord (殿 tono?). This did not happen, but he was given the position of samurai. In June 1582, Nobunaga was attacked and committed seppuku in Honnō-ji in Kyoto by the army of Akechi Mitsuhide. Yasuke was also there at the time. Immediately after Nobunaga’s death, Yasuke went to the lodging of Nobunaga’s heir Oda Nobutada and tried to withdraw with him to Nijō Castle. When they were ambushed halfway, Yasuke fought alongside the Nobutada forces for a long time. Finally he surrendered his sword to Akechi’s men. They asked Akechi himself what to do with him. Akechi said that the black man was a beast and did not know anything, and furthermore, he was not Japanese, so they should not kill him but take him to the church.It is told that the reason why Mistuhide say so deliberately was he did not want to kill Yasuke. This was much to the relief of the Jesuits there who had worried about him. There is no information about him after that. Yasuke was also mentioned in the prototype of Shinchōkōki owned by Sonkeikaku Bunko (尊経閣文庫). According to this, Yasuke was given his own house and a short katana by Nobunaga. Nobunaga also assigned him the duty of carrying his personal spear. A 2013 investigation by Discovery of the World’s Mysteries (世界ふしぎ発見) concluded that Yasuke was a Makua named Yasufe.

I had a project team member for an AI class once. He was diagnosed with autism and relied on some medicine to keep himself a little more balanced. All in all, he was nice I think. While you were in his circle, he tried (to the best of his abilities). If you were outside of that though (like if he wasn't involved with you) you didn't really register to him. His anxiety constantly led him to dominate discussions and lectures with questions and requests for clarifications to satiate his uncertainty. Even to me it was trying, as it undermined the team's needed cohesive front. But I would blame that on the lack of awareness of social cues and minutiae. Overall, he was a pretty smart guy that would be even more so if he wasn't held back by his need for reassurance and seemed like a decent friend to have, since he likes games and anime haha. I would need to weight my capacity for patience and communication, if I wanted to work with him on another software project though. He oddly mistook one of my deadline clarifications as making fun of him. Not really sure what to make of that one, I was confused at the time

A mix of curiosity and boredom. There are other online anime communities, like the anime subreddit. But I've been trying to venture away from reddit in general, as while r/anime is nice, the overall trend on the defaults is a steep steep decline in quality and discourse.

Life is playing all of us for fools. I makes up all these silly rules and regulations for us to follow, and what is are first response. To defy them. Mankind thinks it need force, discipline, direction, government and order to function, when has this ever been true. It's all a great big joke. It's really funny in all actuality, the way our world works. Sometimes I think the world envys the dead. The dead feel nothing, they fear nothing, their conscious of nothing. But the funniest thing, in reality, they are nothing. Why would the world want to be nothing, fear perhaps? Fear of all the world could be and what it could do to all who live in it, maybe? Our world gets more black than blue with each passing day, entire continents want to raise their arms for no reason what so ever. Look at the mass extinctions we've had, whose to say were next on the world's menu. Mind set, mind set, mind set, that's all it is. Sure our world can be hellish, but, look at all the things that we've got, better to hold on tight than to get off the train. Just oil your track and get going back. I might be crazy, and this world might be mad, but, that never stopped people before. So play around with the worlds toy box and see if you get something good, who knows what you'll find. It's a bowl of cherries ripe for the picking, just make sure you get there on the harvest moon, or you'll be starved ha-ha. A piece of black jade is all our world is, now we need to polish it so it can shine again.

My sister got the tickets, actually. She's really into that stuff. Our mom was originally going with her, until I elected to take her place. I figured it'd be an interesting experience, and I suppose it was. Still wouldn't do it again.
