I only get to be an Otaku around my D&D pals really, though I tend to watch my anime and stuff in my room.

I do the same as serenity, it is not something the "normal" people need to know about me so I won't be telling them

meh i embrace bein an otaku with me whole being! ^^ but im not a wiaboo XP i dont go around going "kawaii deshuuuu :D!!!" XP i do say gomen and arigato and ohayo XP

Oh god I know where you're coming from. My buddy has the same problem. When he finally gets away from his room to attend a house party I invited him to, he just whips out his PSP and ignores everything around him. He is a cool guy but sometimes I'd like him to have fun and let loose ya know?

I say Kawaii and all forms of hello but not much more, otaku-ness only comes into my real life when I see Pikachu or Hige....

I go out to downtown events with my Team Dai-Gurren flag and yell lines from Kamina. I scream bankai when I'm working out and try to get one more rep in. I take pictures of my Saber plushie at random venues. I sing the first Pokemon theme song when I'm bored. I curse in Japanese when I'm getting mad. I think I'm pretty normal.
