Man the kind of lessons the bible holds. The book of Job im being honest was really boggling my mind. All these poems and speech patterns really didnt make much sense to me. But breaking it down in this way i get it now. I simply saw Job as some depressed individual blaming God for his suffering with the message between the LORD and satan in the beginning as an example. But its more complex, this is the argument i make with all those who criticize the bible. The bible is a complex book, and while some of us think we have the answer to all of God's decisions you cannot contest with centuries of knowledge inspired by the creator himself. You with Your short lifespan and limited knowledge cannot just determine God isnt real. The world is more complex than that.

If you look in the bible and read it Jesus, the father and the holy spirit is found everywhere in the bible. Whenever i find them mentioning Jesus indirectly it always blows my mind. Its super interesting

If you have 2.5 hrs to spare and Netflix, watch the Wailing. It's a Korean horror film but it's centered around religion and rituals. Very interesting.

Speaking of religion and rituals its funny to see how many ritualistic things often derive from Christianity, or well God the Father anyway. Things like the use of blood which pagans use for their weird goat rituals. Because in the old testament the blood of the animals and everything were meant to simulate what the blood of Jesus was meant to do. Which is wash away our sins. But the pagans would pervert that and use it to sacrifice to their gods during their sex filled rituals and stuff. Every religion i believe is centered arpund the same being as their foundation however there is only one God. The God of Jacob, Abraham and Isaac.

I’m a Christian (Catholic) / Spiritual / Omnist, I believe in God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. I also believe that there is more in this universe than what I know. I know the Bible has been translated hundreds of time by man, who is influenced by his beliefs, and different languages, just as other religions and creeds are. There is no room to throw shade at any others, because truly, our God could all be the same Supreme Being like Elohim or Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah, Alláh-u-Abhá, Hayyi Rabbi, Bhagavan, Ik Onkar, Ahura Mazda and etc. They are all followed by people who are imperfect to say the least. All their truths are different perspectives on the same truth. They are all true in a sense yet none are completely true. None are exclusively true. The more we try to define things that defy explanation the more inaccurate they become. "The Tau that can be spoken is not the Tau." It can only be experienced. Also, "trust those who seek truth, but beware of those who claim to have found it." "Beauty is truth." There's no such thing in one true religion. The True religion is neither rules-based nor ritual-based. True religion is a relationship with God. Two things that all religions hold are that humanity is somehow separated from God and needs to be reconciled to Him. False religion seeks to solve this problem by observing rules and rituals. True religion solves the problem by recognizing that only God could rectify the separation, and that He has done so. True religion does have rules and rituals, but there is a crucial difference. In true religion, the rules and rituals are observed out of gratitude for the salvation God has provided – NOT in an effort to obtain that salvation. True religion, which is Biblical Christianity, has rules to obey (do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not lie, etc.) and rituals to observe (water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper / Communion). Observance of these rules and rituals is not what makes a person right with God. Rather, these rules and rituals are the RESULT of the relationship with God, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone as the Savior. False religion is doing things (rules and rituals) in order to try to earn God’s favor. True religion is receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and thereby having a right relationship with God and then doing things (rules and rituals) out of love for God and desire to grow closer to Him.
