@yaasshat well i guess you can say i was born again. I would say i have always been religious in the sense i always believed in god. But thats about it, i would believe and pray to god but i wouldnt like BELIEVE in god if that makes sense. I was basically a believer in name only. What really sparked my passion was the fact that i felt frustrated and as though i was gonna go to hell. Because i was beyond being saved i had done so much bad in my life. I was talking about it with my fiancée and got recommended a video on youtube basically addressing every concern i had brought up. Like every single one as if god were talking to me. It really moved me, because i was in a position where i was basically fighting against god and losing myself in sin. Yet here he was letting me know he hadnt given up on me. For years now it felt as though god had went silent in my head as if i had been abandoned but all of that was explained in that one video. Thats why i have been so religious as of late. This is why i say i have proof he exists. You can say things like "maybe its targeted videos from google and youtube" or "purely coincidence" but that exact moment not a day later not a week later, literally instantly in my moment of weekness i was given a sign. This happens alot if you simply just look. If you have ever had something come up in your life alot. Whether its sokeone telling you to do this or that and you find it always being brought up imo this is god trying to make attempts to get through to you. Ofc ik in the bible and stuff he would directly speak to people as clear as you and me are speaking. But i feel like god is stepping back and allowing the stage to be set for the end times. I feel like this is different than the satanic panic in the 1900's. The way the world is moving i think jesus will return any day now. I think only if you have been looking for god will you be able to see things clearly.

(The "satanic panic" was more of an American thing than a whole world sort of thing... Couldn't even play D&D... thar be magic and dragons.... It's eeeeeeeviiiiiiiiil!!!!!) Satanic panic was the 80's... I still remember it... Don't make me feel older than I am with "1900's"... Get off my lawn!!! I was once like you. If your faith is doing you good,more power to ya. However, I was just curious since you definitely weren't like this for a good while. I do find it interesting as to how and why people believe, it's good to have varying perspectives.

Damien Echols was just on a new Timcast show and he was talking about how the West Memphis Three situation was in part due to satanic panic. As someone from the Midwest, can confirm that stuff was crazy. I remember the church women talking when I was a child. A lot of things were blamed on them "devil worshippers"....any graffiti found, any remnants of a party found in abandoned buildings or out in the woods. Nobody had more creative minds than women with boring lives and a passion for teh lord. My grandmother believed you could get demon possessed though certain TV shows or movies. Ahh.. the memories.

I say 1900's because i didnt know the exact year so i said that instead. Im not entirely sure your reason for believing the way you do now. But just know Jesus loves you and i hope you can find your way back. Whatever may have caused you to think different, believe different its all a test. God tests our faith in various ways. See past it and do some reflecting you would probably find your answer. @verucassault i feel like people jumped the gun on that. People believed the end times were near back then because things were changing all these demonic imagery and things started to make its self be known. I dont believe this was truly the right time to speak on that issue because if you compare society today vs society then it has been way way worse. Christianity is outright rejected by the younger generation and it could very well be because of the satanic panic. Plus compared to the 80's i dont think gay marriage was legal or trans and drag queens visited schools for children and performed. Plus things such as neurolink and people already being able to scan their hand and pay for stuff. Artificial womb facilities. I believe that satanic panic was simply the beginning and people trying to stop the inevitable. This WILL happen because god has predicted it.

I dont think you can necessarily be possessed though television however. I think you can only be possessed if your soul is weak and you invite that stuff into your life. So in a round about way maybe you can? I have seen dozens of demonic things in tv and such and it hasnt really affected me that way. Now if you look at masonic imagery its everywhere. Persona 5 is a perfect example. The game basically has stuff like baphomet, the arch angels, satan, lucifer, futaba and the pentagram finishing cutscene as well as the star in her eye only showing one eye symbolizing the all seeing eye. It sounds crazy ik but thats just it, this is how they get you. They want you to think its all conspiracy and crazy people talk. That way you dont get influenced by the people who see these things.
