@hell_hound7 Back in my day, we just called it third gender. Didn't need the pronouns. There were just some people you didn't treat like men or women, because it just felt weird doing so, and it wasn't the energy or personality that they projected.
As for trans, they were always around, even if we had trouble telling them apart from gay dudes. You know the whole "I feel like a woman trapped inside the body of a man" Thing? Yeah, that was it. We just didn't stop to question what the difference was. This was a time when playing "Smear the queer" was just something you did during recess. None of that was ever why I lost faith in religion. I kinda just blame the fundamentalists who were screaming about me being possessed by a demon for that. But compared to what we have nowadays where the hostility toward people like that is turned down significantly, I could see why newer generations just don't really get what any of it is about. You got the screamos on twitter, and the reactionaries on 4chan, and neither has lived during those times.
Also, you should see the real screaming lunatics. They're hilarious.

“Do not be so open-minded that your brains fall out.” (G.K. Chesterton)
Its good to be open minded, but there are fundamental truths that are true regardless of how you question them. Truths like the earth being round, water being wet, fire being warm etc. Likewise, there are truths in physics that are true regardless of how you question them. There are cars that run on hydrogen, but hydrogen is technically not water. There is no such thing as cars running on pure water. You need a lot of energy to break up water molecules. You can't extract more energy than what you input into a system. You would essentially violate the law of the conservation of energy. In an enclosed system."Energy can neither be destroyed nor created". Otherwise you'll violate the 1st law of thermodynamics, which is just a rephrasing of the conservation of energy. You could create a perpetual moving machine if you violated the the 1st law of thermodynamics. Imagine if there was a car that violated the first law of thermodynamics. That car would only need one tank of gas and it would run forever without the need to refuel ever again. No such car exist. No such technology exist. It is all conspiracy level brain rot. Sorry, not sorry.

"Because the truth is offensive to those who live in lies."
Very true indeed. The truth is many lesbian and gay children are abused sexually by charismatic members of supposed Christian faith. Then have it downplayed at the expense of the child to protect the congregation's appearance.
The truth is some children have bore witness to a parent going against the word of God by having affairs behind their spouses back. Then trying to bribe the child into silence only then to fly off the handle years later about that same child (now an adult) coming out. Saying how "sinful and who taught you to be this way?"
The truth is there are indeed people of all walks of life, atheistic or religious, who cast stones to cover their own shortcomings. No person can be free of this unless they understand the 2 commandments of Jesus. "Worship the Lord, your God and judge others as you wish to be judged."
As it was said, to come close to the flame of truth when oneself is a walking wick is asking themselves to be set a lit! Don't cast down your neighbors until you yourself can do more than point fingers at others' fault. For who needs a doctor more? The healthy or the sick?

Yup. See, my problem was NEVER with your belief, panda, it's your approach. Gabriel seems to get it and comes across in the manner I was more familiar with in my personal understanding. Jesus hung out with prostitutes, tax collector's and drunkards, not to point fingers (As he, in the bible, would've been the only one truly capable of doing so, but chose not to... Nevermind the pharisees in the temple when he lost it on them.lol), but to be a beacon. Hell, he was accused of being like them since he was with them as much as he was.lol

@chocopyro huh idk then cuz i grew up in the early 2000's and none of that was present when i grew up. If you did things tht werent associated with your gender you were called faggot or other derogatory terms. This isnt me saying its right just it was only two genders boys and girls. Maybe tomboys to describe unladylike women but thats about it. Everything else was just gay or dyke or something along those lines. There was no genderfluid or agender or whatever else. I think this was more of a tumblr concept that spewed over into twitter when that went out of popularity. Twitter being the cesspool for whatever trash ideology we have today was then further pushed through tiktok. Thats just my attempt to find where this came from and how it spread so quickly. See twitter has always been known for the crazy ideologs but tiktok is more user friendly. Everyone is on tiktok and they can get their instant gratification rather than page by page scrolling on Twitter.
Now yes gay people existed before all this, drag queens existed, cross dressers existed. This was more of kept in the dark taboo things you had to go looking for. People remained in the closet about stuff. Im not saying these didnt exist. Just through mainstream media it became more popularized and cultivated. It teaches boys and girls who dont know anything aboutlove and sex that if you dont feel this way about the opposite gender maybe ur gay or maybe you could be trans if you dont like what boys around you like. It confuses the youth you see more adults grooming children into surgeries and all this. Kids arent able to be themselves and figure themselves out anymore. Now we have teachers and social media influencing them. People cant see this because alot of us didnt grow up in this era. When i was young smart phones were for rich people, i remember there were ipod and boost mobile walkie talkie things. Most of my days were spent playing outside but kids these days arent like that. Not trying to sound like a boomer here. But kids are exposed to more things its easier to find the most depraved parts of humanity with tje press of a button. Im only 25 technology has advanced that fast and with it comes changes.
But im sure i will be met with push back. You can spit facts all day long and people will still choose to be blind to the obvious.

Were you confused, panda? Did you have to choose to be heterosexual? Do you think if not for people calling you a "fagott", you'd be gay? Was it how you grew up that made that choice for you? Serious question/s. Now, I do agree it's pressed way to much in everyone's face, sexuality in general and I can definitely concur with that sentiment.

@hell_hound7 In the early 2000s, the way we used gay and faggot actually had nothing to do with sexuality. Gay just meant "Undesirable". You loose at a video game. "That's gay." Your friend annoys you. "Stop being gay." A biker's motorcycle is unreasonably loud. "Fuckin faggot."
I get what you mean, but I still think this has more to do with us just poorly understanding it rather than them coming out of nowhere. As for the grooming shit. *Dusts off his credentials*

I see examples of that on occasion, but it's about as common in the trans community as it is anywhere else. Unfortunately I also see a lot of out of context clips that are framed in a very specific way to portray groups (Christians, Trans, Gays, Satanists) as being inherently pedophiliac, but none of them tell me enough about the context of the situation to see any real signs of it. Remember, I follow vtubers. I'm used to people trying to make us into pedophiles as well.

If i grew up in todays day and age yeah i probably would. I was one of those kids who had no interest in girls until like later on in my teens. I didnt care about getting a girlfriend or found parts of women alluring. If i had people like we do today saying hey maybe ur gay. I can see how as a teen it would make sense, i struggled for a while wondering why i didnt care about girls. Why other people had girlfriends and stuff like that and why i didnt feel any strong desire to have one. As a kid struggling to find himself i can completely see how an adult could manipulate me into believing that. Thats why the argument kids cant consent to sex is a thing because as adult you can manipulate a child into believing thats what they want and its depraved. Its basically a form of grooming. This is so destructive to society. Me not having an interest in girls early on was just me being a kid and i was pressured by society to feel like i needed to be interested in something. The whole "if you didnt have sex by this age ur loser" was my peer pressure growing up. An over sexualized society. Kids dont need to experience that. I feel kids are experiencing that today but now with the introduction of LGBT.
