I'd like to get a feel on what people here feel about humans in general. Are we all born into this world inherently selfish and evil? Do humans have to learn to fight against their human nature and be kind? Do humans have a greater capacity for evil or kindness? I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on this matter.

A Monke slings dung at people.
Monke thinks it's the funniest thing ever.
We think it's the funniest thing ever.
If a Human slings dung at people.
Monke thinks it's the funniest thing ever.
We think it's the evilest thing ever.

Plus, low key.
This anime scene got me thinking about it.
Some peeps just like messing with others, till it's done to them.

So, they have a "oh that is why it hurts so much".
Maybe humans can be super curious and test social boundaries more often than they need too.
They also might've grew with very little consequences.

Nah, but I think society kind of is. It encourages people to be evil by rewarding bad behavior and punishing good behavior. Takers take, givers give.
Generally speaking, Douchbags who do what they want without a care for who they hurt or bother simply get what they want. That's just how it is. They don't care if they're viewed as bad or evil. If they cheat, lie, steal, ect sure there's a chance they might get caught and get a slap on the wrist if what they're doing is illegal, But you can still be a horrible person without breaking any laws, or be smart enough to know how to get away with the ones you do.
Good people meanwhile get taken advantage of, used, and get little reward for it. What do you get for giving up your spot in line, a longer wait time. You open doors for people, they get served first. You scratch or dent someone's car and do the "right thing" by leaving your info, you might be stuck with large repair costs.
It comes in all shapes and sizes really. From people who abuse staff at stores to get discounts and free stuff, to corporations that profit off horrible business practices that hurt their customers, employees, and the industry alike.
If I'm patient and friendly with people, at best I get a "thanks for waiting", but in the same situations we see someone else yell and throw a fuss, and they get treated like royalty. How can you expect people not to end up rotten in a society like this? It's like we're told one thing but shown something completely different in practice.
I really do often wonder what the point is of trying to be a 'good' person is in a world that doesn't seem to want you to be one. I've tried putting other people's needs before my own, to help out, and go out of my way for people, but couldn't say the same for any of them. Maybe I'm just an idiot for trying to be one thing in a world that tells me to be another. Rather than give in I've taken to simply trying to avoid people all together, but I really can't blame others for taking the path this world lays out for them when it's so much easier.

People become even more evil if they become a hivemind with others.

Gotta define what universal good and evil are, first. Or, for that matter, if there's a universal good and evil.
