The irony is us that the person who wrote that shaped the way my childhood saw race relations.
Colorblind. Integration.
That's why when in the last 10 years I saw people self-segregating into safe spaces it annoyed me.

President Obama & Biden talking about doing the exact same thing Trump is doing now. The problem is Trump is following through.

Used to think the same thing until I saw the amount of people defending Elon and Steve Bannon now I'm not so sure

I'll defend Elon but not Bannon.
He's whaling and culling like he did with Twitter.
20% of the people do 80% of the work. Trim the fat.
I'm currently watching a video from the Secretary of Defense addressing the American people directly.
I hope this sets a new standard for administrations moving forward. Not one day has gone by where Trump didn't talk to the press or the public.
This is the most transparency I have ever seen in Government and I don't want it to go back. Our money. Our votes. We should have a say and we should have more control.
This is all checks and balances as far as I'm concerned.

I would do more research as to where Trump's Administration's budget cuts and reinvestments are actually affecting our country first before I give praise.
Elon has a history of saying things he knows isn't true to help further his companies' goals at the expense of his investors. The man is doing the same as a member of our government. He himself has admitted that he will exploit customer and investors' ignorance if it personally benefits himself. Donald Trump's book "Art of the Deal" even goes into detail about using this exact strategy.
Ultimately, is it transparency if everyday a government official says something that isn't accurate and requires the average citizen to constantly fact check the leaders' statements? One could say that's how it's always been. I don't disagree with that statement. My point is, why would I trust Trump and his entourage anymore than the next guy?
