So I'm not happy with the outcome but I try to see the silver lining. RFK JR better make good on this or I will make a civil war happen. https://i.postimg.cc/wg0SXTgw/an2h7os087wd1.png

Meh. As a Brazilian, I ought to look at the geopolitical landscape. Trump is an *sreal cocksucker and "anti-NATO" (on quotes because he doesn't give a flying fuck to Europe). Trump's election is the acceleration of predicted change in liberal democracies worldwide. They will close and become less democratic.

Of course, Trump doesn't have the power to just reform the murican constitution in 4 years and become a dictator. The undemocratization of the US will take some time, regardless if the president is a batshit insane Qanonist, the average Republican or Democrat or a batshit insane identitarian (such as Bernie and AOC)

I don't know why someone said I voted for Trump and was uncritical of the man? To set the record straight I didn't vote for Trump. He's a failure of a leader much like his contemporary. The man openly accepted Proud Boy supporters which was a disappointment. He had the opportunity to distance himself and he didn't. His family claims Christianity, but they are extremely materialistic and engage in vanity. They do make stuff up all the time to get there way. Trump is not a leader I personally want. That said Kamala is not an unflawed person. Her policies are for the benefit of those already in power much like Biden's was. She is and would have been an equally poor choice. I voted Independent because I firmly feel that as a country of free people we should choose from more than a handful of legacy families. The Bush family, Roosevelts, Kennedys, you name it! We have over 300 million citizens yet it's only a privileged few that get any say. To end plainly, no Donald Trump is not some untouchable god. The man has issues. So does Biden and though Kamala is less talked about on reflection of how she presents herself, much as with Hilary Clinton, she merely panders without providing a solid explanation of how she could improve our country's challenges realistically.

@nebelstern Well this is where things get interesting. The US political establishment are massive corporatists and on top of that they have taken over the Democrat party. Take for example the Cheyney's where the Iraq war happens and they immediately get a contract for their construction company Haliburton to reconstruct Iraq despite Saddam just sort of picking his nose at the time. Now all of a sudden the Cheyney family threw their support behind Kamala. It is also worthy of note that the most massive of corporations such as Apple and Microsoft have political contributions almost solely to the DNC and other Democrat funds, not to mention the massive flow of cash from large investment firms to the same cause. I can only come to the conclusion that the Democrat party has become the party of the rich elites and has become the the most corrupt party since the uniparty period of the early 90s up to around 2012 where there was no difference between Republicans and Democrats, both had the same donors and the same interests when it came to monetary gain. It was a giant granfalloon of autocrats. I started to see the cracks in the armor of the political establishment with Ron Paul and his son Rand Paul, who I personally would have liked to have either as a president. Mostly because they have are the closest thing to my favorite US president Calvin Coolidge. I personally think that the modern political establishment are the hold overs from the Cold War era, where a highly aggressive and arguably evil despot was a necessary evil when it came to countering the Soviet Union. However with no major enemy, they had to justify their existence somehow and it came in the form of national and international business domination. I voted for Donald Trump because he was not a part of the political establishment that has ruled over us for the last 30 years and brought us nothing but misery. On top of that he has a coalition of moderate Democrats such as Tulsi Gabbard and RFK on his team, both of which I would have voted for president over the previous Republican nominees pre-Trump all the way back to 1989.
