@lesserthanascrub We already had a term for what the kids call woke. 'Aware'. @arc They're basically the same age, and both of them are in mental decline. Trump just hides it better because he uses 3rd grade vocabulary. Likewise, on the topic of Russian Saber rattling... I dunno, when it comes to geopolitics, I don't care if I'm listening to a republican or democrat. The ones who come from military backgrounds who do analysis (And are accurate 85% of the time), are roughly on the same page when it comes to Putin's behavior. And it ain't what you're suggesting. Also, I've been trying to fact check some of what you were saying. Which cities exactly are on fire exactly? There's a lot of alarmist rhetoric here, and I don't know how much of it is meant to be taken literally.

@lesserthanascrub I think the bigger point being made is he was the only one that evening that addressed citizens with what the problems were and what his plans were to fix them while the other two were bickering like children. I went down the RFK Jr Forbes article rabbit hole. Look at the difference of meaning when more context is added. I think this is one of those situations where a person is labeled as spreading misinformation when in reality the audience was deprived context of what he was saying and misinterpreted it which then causes the spread of misinformation.

@chocopyro I agree that both presidents are in a state of mental decline. Both are too old to be president. Also with Russia, making an assumption that over the next 4 years our president will not have to make a critical decision is a dangerous line of thinking. In order to fulfill any role as a job a person needs to meet basic mental capacity checks to make sure they can perform their duties. I'm not going to judge people who will still vote for Biden knowing the risk associated with it, but that is an absolute deal breaker for me. Politics aside, I will never vote for someone who doesn't meet mental facilty requirements to assume a role that can potentially put lives at risk. My rhetoric about cities on fire rhetoric and the circle jerk comment was ment to be taken literally. I was basically referencing Portland, San Francisco, and New York City and the dramatic increase in crime or filth due to baffling criminal policies. My rhetoric was basically anger that they are ruining theor cities.

Holy crap Biden just said he is weighing the possibility of stepping down and not continuing the race. Rightly so. Just rumors for now from the New York Times. The problem is, all the super PAC money pushed on the biden ticket has to go to somewhere. If they don't put Kamala up as the new candidate they would have to form a political action committee which can only donate $3,300 max to another candidate. Lots of campaign refunds would go back to donors which in turn would donate to the new candidate. No fuckin way are they letting go of that money. I think if Biden steps down Kamala will be new nominee.

As he should, poor dude clearly is not there. I'm not exactly a trump supporter, but if I only had two real choices....just saying.

Yeah, I'm not a doctor or anything, but Biden shows symptoms of someone with dementia to me. He speaks the exact same way my grandma (with dementia) does.

Most of Biden's big dollar donors are calling for him to drop out of the race now, but he is refusing to do so.. From an interview I watched with RFK Jr. he talks about how he and Biden were friends, but now he acts like an entirely different person, like somebody else is pulling the strings. Maybe his wife? I dunno. I think it's a huge mistake the DNC is making not swapping him out while there is still time.
