I can agree that no religion should be the ultimate doctrine by which man made laws are enforced. It is apparent though that even countries that don't claim to govern by any theocracy still have conflicts of interest. I don't believe the United States is the core center for bashing people's personal beliefs anymore than anywhere else in the world. It is challenging for children abused by zealot parents that are running from their own mental health sickness to comprehend that their parents' supposed belief system isn't representative of the actual doctrine or the world as a whole. Non religious families face equal challenges in their own way. And we have at least one example of an atheist who doesn't care about other people's thoughts or feelings if they can't prove to him why they matter. So blaming faith isn't getting to the core problem. People are sick mentally in nature. They naturally want to be swayed by sentiment and emotions. Getting upset with one's own emotions doesn't fix the problem. Screaming "Math and Science" isn't enough to sway public opinion. And if one relies on force to get there way then history repeats itself. No atheist or religious nut is going to have the "FINAL SOLUTION!" They tried and failed for the last 2,000 plus years. I guess the United States will survive in some shape or form. If not it will evolve into something new. However there is a reason to hypothesize humanity in all its forms will struggle to understand itself. Clinging to bias based on emotions. Never full logic. Never met the person who mastered this universe. But I haven't given up living or placing the burden on that which I can't know. It's just a feeling I have, ya know. Not so different from your own.

I see Christian Nationalism, I say yes. Edit: No. I don't actually support Christian nationalism.
