no i didnt. your thinking is too one dimensional I'm a woman, i appear less threatening so cops are less likely to shoot me or treat me violently compared to men because of this. that is a part of female privilege at the same time, because i appear less threatening i am also at higher risk to be raped or sexually assaulted black people can have the privilege of being at a higher chance for certain grants than white people, but that's a double edge sword because those grants exist to help pull black people out of socioeconomic disparity and put them on even footing with whites everyone has some form of privilege @dyadka_yar in America you mean? arent those just wealthy immigrants that are boosting those numbers? i believe new york has a horrific asian poverty issue

I don't like the sudden media focus on the Asian community. On one hand, I am glad Asians are standing up for themselves and arming themselves for protection. On the other hand, I don't like this feeling of being in a spotlight. It almost feels condescending, like people are hopping on a trend or opportunity to virtue signal for their own agendas. While there has been a rise in Anti-Asian crimes, Asian race issues have been around for much longer and it feels weird that it's suddenly being focused upon by the entire nation. I simply hope for the Asian community to arm and defend itself from all aggressors to deter people from harming us. (;´д`)

@momoichi Yes in America. Now according to the chart Indians and Filipinos top the list and still do 3 years later. And no it is not from giant investors from Philippines of which there are very few if any. https://prosperitynow.org/files/event/Advocacy%20Contest/AAIncomeNationality_1.jpg @mountain_tiger Don't worry, we are a hardy people. My father tells me tales of how his mother chased him with a machete when he misbehaved and I will tell my children of the times my father chased me with a bamboo stick when I misbehaved. We are trained from a young age.

in short, everyone has privilege, the degrees just vary based on where you are hell, you could live in an area where its mostly black people and be picked on and denied jobs because of it, your white privilege doesn't exist in this case, your skin color is actually a detriment to you in this case things like this do happen, and i can understand that its irritating to hear about how privileged you are when it does, but its more of a generalization then a person by person issue
dyadka_yar
So then why call it a privilege at all? It is a reductionist argument that comes down to individual cases rather than an all encompassing concept.
