Selling a massive 5000+ member discord server

i didnt see a straight fuckin answer on the 1st page and im not reading all the rest so ill put it simply if anyone is still wondering big discord servers get sponsored to advertise things just like anything with a large community.

As one out of touch with the modern day social media. I can imagine that such things are more of a kin to an unreliable stock market. To invest into such a thing would only have value to the consumer if they were able to utilize said features in a profitable way. That said I am clearly not the target audience as are more than likely many who frequent this forum. Best of fortunes in making thy fortune mysterious solicitor! For what it was worth, what would you yourself pay for such a novel responsibility?

@theodore_the_attendant - anybody who buys a discord server is doing it likely because they want to skip that initial grind. most servers simply don't make it. some do. the ones that do have a built community and you can call that server your own. @verucassault - its a hentai server that has a rich history. been around longer than the playroom server. after discussing things with my team, i'm probably going to keep the server crown but give two people admin who want their chance to run a server. 5500+ members and an active community isn't a bad situation to arrive in. i no longer have the time to run it but am open to discuss with people who want a chance to co-run a server together. build their own legacies on it. i'm sure there's someone out there who wants their chance. i'd "prefer" having one woman and one man. you also get a mod team and can add more mods too. the only rules i ask is: don't be corrupt owners, don't demote our current mods because they've been around a while and keep the server a hentai server where people can lewd in main chat. not a bad situation.

I'll probably stick around sometimes but won't interfere in what the new admins do as long as i don't get severe complaints of corruption. the server has been around for a bit and i think my run is ending. i need fresh blood who wants their chance at carving their legacies and running something
