@bruschettebites Bro for real, people would just up and bounce more than likely. Especially if you start changing things, no guarantee those members will stay.
obviously there would be a process and i'd have to slowly introduce the new owner to everyone. with that said, lots of servers move on to a second owner. of course the second owner could absolutely fail but they could also succeed. it just depends on the process. i can't run the server anymore and even if i could, i feel like i can't offer much more to the server that'd benefit it longterm. times change and new minds are needed. hiring second owners isn't a new concept. it just depends on the process. luckily, i think i can handle the transition. it just depends if the other person can.
i've poured my heart and soul into this server. i've earned my retirement.
at the very least, at least i can admit i no longer have time to run this server. some owners just sit on their ass lol and stop posting when they lose interest, hire no new owner and just let their servers die. i for one believe my server has become bigger than my reign as owner. i believe it has another 3+ years as an active server. i never expected to make a community but it happened and i'm proud of myself and everyone who helped me. and now its time for change and someone to make my creation, adopt my baby and watch it grow up.
that's what a second owner really is. they're adopting your creation and watching over it as it grows even older
I don't see why you're selling it when you can just pass it onto one of the mods you trust the most with it. To me it just seems like you just want to milk it for money.
Tbh we broke otaku wont buy your server unless you had big tiddy waifus in it. Selling a discord server we know nothing about nor if it even exists and the people are legit.
