taste pleasure is a type of pleasure. you arent an indigenous person, i dont blame them for eating meat.
modern humans though living in first words are not indigenous people, they dont hunt their food
they have choices
and they choose to give money to people to needlessly kill an animal
do you think the dog meat festival in china is ethical?
@tiddy i love that new pfp

Killing animals for sport? And throwing them to garbage?
What a waste

Well we have to look into the implications of hunting and the like. We have been creating more human manners in order to kill wild game culminating in the firearm. Now death by firearm is extremely quick and causes minimal pain in comparison to arrows, stones, claw and tooth. One has to ask the question, what would the death of a deer have been had you not shot it? Being torn apart by wolves, famine, dehydration, disease or some random injury that would slowly lead to the death of the deer?
The animal got to live life the way it was meant to and the hunter gave it a death that would have been far more painless than that which nature would have provided. There is the hunter's creed, "Do not kill that you are not willing to eat."
I take this very seriously, I don't even kill mice. Not even spiders.
Now factory farming is an ethical disaster and I generally stay away from them as much as I can. Plus it makes the meat taste rather unpleasant. A local farm raised cow has a more bold and intense flavor than that of grocery store.
@tiddy
Yes, but the beavers/otters and whatnot did indeed eat their meat since it was a quickly available source. Back then meat was a precious resource that we take for granted.

laws and morality are both made by the MAJORITY.
now Lamby if you want to pass a law to be allowed to fuck someones eyesocket, you have the right to present that law and see how many agree with it.
if most people are like "mmh, yea sounds like a good idea!" the law will be passed and you will be able to fuck people eyesockets to your hearts content without anyone being allowed to say you're breaking the law. regardless of that persons own morality.
Optionally, if your law does not pass you could technically have a small, hidden society or a cult where you do these practices in secret. giving that you do find some psychos that would do it. else you can just daydream about it or idk draw it down.

@kyros96 i disagree
the majority of americans want some kind of socialized healthcare
and yet.......
also that has nothing to do with morality, unless you think morality should be dictated by what the masses want, but if you do that you can justify the holocaust
